The Permanent Collection
From the New Wild Expressionism to the Computer

The Rethymnon Centre of Contemporary Art - "L. Kanakakis" Municipal Gallery (now the Contemporary Art Museum of Crete) participated in the events of the Short Film Festival of Drama in September 1999, following an invitation from the festival. The Centre presented an exhibition featuring works from the Permanent Collection of the "L. Kanakakis" Municipal Gallery of Rethymnon.

The exhibition was highly successful, with the people of Drama expressing great appreciation for the inclusion of such an engaging artistic event alongside their Festival. Titled "From the New Wild Expressionism to the Computer," the exhibition was hosted at Melina Hall from September 19 to October 3, 1999.
