In the context of the exhibition Greek painting in the 18th-19th centuries, a lecture was given on Friday, May 26, 1994 in the hall of Periigitiki on the paintings of the Ionian Islands during that period.
The lecture was given by the Curator of the National Gallery, Manos Stefanidis. Mr. Stefanidis presented to the public the course of Ionian painting during the 18th and 19th centuries using examples with the projection of slides.
